Dear Students,It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Vaidik Dental College & Research Centre,Daman.This is first institute in the U.T. of Daman and its neighboring area that provides an opportunity for Students pursuing dental science as a profession. I assure you of a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff who will guide and bring out the best in every student. Our goal is to provide well equipped laboratories and dental clinics, manned by efficient and skilled manpower, and maintain the availability of adequate clinical material for all our students.At this institute, we not only strive to encourage students to excel in academics but also foster extracurricular activities, thereby enhancing the overall growth and development of every individual's personality.
“ The undergraduate dental programme leading to B.D.S. Degree shall be of 4 (four) academic years plus one year rotational internship in a recognised Dental College. Every student will be required , after passing the final B.D.S. examination, to undergo one year rotational internship in a recognised Dental college. The internship shall be compulsory and B.D.S. Degree shall be granted after completion of one year internship”.

Every student will be required , after passing the final MDS examination, to undergo one year rotating internship in a Dental college. The internship shall be compulsory and MDS Degree shall be granted after completion of one year internship”.
" The college is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmadabad (NAAC accredited B++) for the students of under graduate B.D.S. course . Gujarat University is the biggest and oldest university in Gujarat state. The university has the distinction of the highest number of enrolled students at both U.G. and P.G. course levels."
The U.T Administration of Daman & Diu has issued the Essentially certificate to the management of this institute to establish the Dental College at its present location. This is the only professional institute in Daman & Diu.
" The Dental College has tied up with the 150 bedded Government General Hospital, Marwad Daman for imparting practical knowledge in medical subjects. The hospital is located 3.5 kms from the college and has facilities of various departments of Medicine and Surgery ".
In order to keep our students active, alert and provide overall awareness, a variety of activities are organized in this institute at various stages throughout the academic session.
